The competition’s final whistle is about to blow as Boomerang Partners launches the last stage of the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026. The decisive round, called “Overtime,” runs from July 20 to August 31 and promises to be the most thrilling and competitive phase yet. This is the ultimate chance for affiliate teams to rise up the leaderboard and go for the season’s top prize — an exclusive private dinner with a football legend, set for September 2026.
To turn up the intensity, Boomerang Partners is rolling out an updated point system. During this Overtime phase, affiliates will receive 3 points for every first-time deposit (FTD) on any brand within the agency’s portfolio. It’s a significant shift from the previous stage, where each sports FTD earned 3 points and each casino FTD just 1. Now, all FTDs matter equally, creating a fairer and more balanced competition where every performance can make a difference.
Teams still have several ways to supercharge their progress thanks to the continuation of performance boosts introduced earlier in the season. These incentives are designed to shake up the leaderboard and give all participants a real shot at a last-minute comeback:
- Welcome Boost: Earn double points for the first 14 days after entering Overtime.
- Lucky Five: Gain +5 bonus points each week for achieving 10 Casino FTDs.
- Last Minute Winner: Triple your points during the final seven days of the competition.
According to Martin Černý, CEO of Boomerang Partners, the Overtime stage is where everything is decided. “At this stage, every result influences the leaderboard,” he explained. “Teams still have the chance to change their positions and compete for the final victory. We expect some intense rivalries before the curtain falls.”
